THE INCARNATION OF CHRIST IN YOU

WIFE NOT A HAT

THEHAT

Jesus said to him, ‘You mistake your wife for a hat and adjudge nothing as something because you have agnosia. Your addiction to your self-made fictions is invisible to you because you have become immune to the truth and have lost the ability to distinguish between flesh and spirit.’
SEEING WITH SEEING EYES
Spiritual discernment is far less about perceiving evil than it is about possessing all of life. That is, all of life, instead of settling for a half-life or a depleted life even though our inheritance in Christ is unlimited life.
The lies of The Enemy are like a guided missile with multiple warheads, each with a different target. The father of lies is a thief who robs life by proposing to add to our unlimited life by a lying proviso or a debilitating adjustment to the perfection of grace.
BE LIKE GODS..
‘Become like Gods’ They already were – sons of God in fact. One of the insinuations that led to the fall is that there was some lack in Adam and Eve that could be corrected by independence and self-effort. The ploy following the cross and the resurrection of humanity in Jesus Christ is the same. It’s to cloud the all-sufficiency of the incarnation and substitute additions to grace. These take the form of personal self-effort and denominational additions to pure grace.
The law produced numbing of the incarnation, stifles the spirit of sonship. These encrustations dilute our reliance on grace and suffocate the incarnation in us. The result is what the father of lies intended. We substitute the living presence with pragmatism, moralism, old covenant mindsets and versions of the anointing that are a combination of modern-day legalism and modern Gnosticism. The result. Dead men and women walking.
SEEING RIGHT
Good discernment comes less from seeing the Light than living in the Light. Living in – is a state of being- it’s not box ticking or proof-text collecting and it’s much more than an attachment to Christianity. It’s not actually religion. It’s oneness of being – it’s being one with the Light.
Light is more than seeing. It’s knowing how to see and where to position ourselves to see what is rather than what we have believed for so long or what has been made up. It’s also knowing to whom to listen.
Seeing as God sees happens from living in God – not so much as living Christianity but living out of oneness with God. There is a difference.
Jacob Aitken writes of Torrance, “In this unofficial commentary on the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed, Thomas Torrance uses Athanasius's theology, particularly the concept of homoousion, to demonstrate God's self-revelation in Jesus Christ as the foundation of the Gospel and our knowledge of God… Christ is revelation to you and us. WE KNOW THE FATHER THROUGH HIS SON.
[Light and knowing go together]. “Nicene theology moved from in-turned human reason (epinoia) to a centre in god’s revealing activity in the incarnation of the Logos. In the Incarnation God does not tell us some fact about himself, but he gives us his very self.

By Jesus’s coming to us as man, his humanity reveals the very nature of God . The father and the son have a mutual relation of knowing. Only the Son can know the Father and reveal him. Therefore, a mutual relation of knowing entails a mutual relation of being. This gives us direct access to the closed circle of divine knowing. Our knowledge of God is rooted in the eternal being of God himself.” This is life, or more accurately the Light of Life. We already have this. We just need to agree with Christ that we do.
